Founder
Nazia Ahmed is the Founder of Al Asr Welfare Foundation UK and an experienced teacher and lecturer of Qur’anic studies, with over two decades of experience in Islamic education. Her passion for teaching the Qur’an has guided her journey in promoting faith-based learning for women and children across the United Kingdom.
Since founding Al Asr in 2011, Nazia has dedicated herself to teaching the Qur’an, Tafseer, Seerah, and Arabic Grammar to both adults and young learners. She personally designs, prepares, and delivers each course, ensuring every session is grounded in authenticity and relevance to everyday life.
Her classes are conducted in both Urdu and English, enabling diverse audiences to engage deeply with the message of the Qur’an. Beyond Qur’anic studies, she also leads self-development and faith-enrichment programmes, helping students connect spiritual understanding with personal growth.
Under her guidance, Al Asr Welfare Foundation has grown into a vibrant educational platform, currently serving over 100 students through regular Qur’anic lectures, workshops, and community learning circles.
