Nazia Ahmed is the Founder of Al Asr Welfare Foundation UK and an experienced teacher and lecturer of Qur’anic studies, with over two decades of experience in Islamic education. Her passion for teaching the Qur’an has guided her journey in promoting faith-based learning for women and children across the United Kingdom.
Halimah is a compassionate and dedicated member of the Muslim community, driven by a strong sense of justice, empathy, and faith. With a professional background in law and counselling, she works tirelessly to empower individuals and families facing social challenges.
Yawar Awan is a Chartered Certified Accountant and Senior Manager in Audit at EY, specialising in financial assurance and governance. As a Founding Trustee of Al Asr Welfare Foundation UK, he combines professional integrity with faith-driven leadership to ensure transparency, accountability, and long-term community impact.
